ČVRSNICA – “Veliki Vilinac”

Čvrsnica is a mountain of legends — dramatic cliffs, hidden plateaus, and the iconic natural stone arch known as Hajdučka Vrata.
The “Gates of the Hajduks” trail leads you from the lower valley up through dense pine forests and across rocky meadows, until you reach this spectacular arch — a natural monument carved by wind and time. After a short rest and photo stop, the trail continues toward Veliki Vilinac (2,118 m), one of the highest peaks of the Dinaric Alps.
From here, the views open toward the deep canyon of Diva Grabovica and the distant outline of Prenj. This is not just a hike — it’s a full-scale adventure, combining raw alpine energy with the timeless beauty of Bosnia’s mountains.
There is an option to combine the two Cvrsnica trails with a price correction, including an overnight stay at a mountain cottage for a more comfortable and immersive experience.
