Sarajevo City Tour Itinerary

1. Trebević Cable Car (start your day here- ticket included into price)

Duration: 1.5–2 hours
Why start here: Mornings have the clearest views and fewer crowds.
Cable Car will take us from the city center to Trebević Mountain (about 7 minutes up) where we will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city. Walking to the 1984 Olympic Bobsleigh Track for great photos and grabbing a coffee at the restaurant.

2. Sarajevo City Hall -Vijećnica (ticket included into price)

Duration: 30–45 minutes
Highlights:
Stunning Austro-Hungarian architecture, beautiful interior atrium, exhibits about Sarajevo’s history.

3. Baščaršija (Old Town)

Duration: 1.5–2 hours
Highlights:
Sebilj Fountain, Kazandžiluk Street, Gazi Husrev-Bey Mosque & Clock Tower

Taste local delicacies:
Ćevapi, burek, turkish coffee or Bosnian coffee.

4. Museums (choose based on your interests)

Option A: Museum of Sarajevo 1878–1918
A small but excellent museum focusing on the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the start of WWI.
Option B: War Childhood Museum
Emotional, beautifully curated museum telling children’s stories from the Bosnian War.
Option C: Gallery 11/07/95
A powerful photographic memorial to Srebrenica.
Option D: National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Home of the famous Sarajevo Haggadah.
