Skakavac is a stunning waterfall located near Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It stands about 98 meters (322 feet) tall, making it one of the most impressive waterfalls in the region. Surrounded by lush forested hills and scenic mountain landscapes, Skakavac offers a peaceful and picturesque escape into nature. The trail to the waterfall is relatively easy and well-marked, making it suitable for hikers of most levels. Visiting Skakavac is a perfect outdoor adventure for nature lovers, providing breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and a tranquil environment to enjoy. For those seeking a longer hike, this circular route from Uževica passes by Sedam vrela and Bukovik, before descending toward Skakavac Waterfall and returning to the starting point. The combination of forest paths, panoramic viewpoints, and the sound of the waterfall makes this tour a complete nature experience. Lunch arrangements are available upon request.
