Skakavac is a stunning waterfall located near Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It stands about 98 meters (322 feet) tall, making it one of the most impressive waterfalls in the region. Surrounded by lush forested hills and scenic mountain landscapes, Skakavac offers a peaceful and picturesque escape into nature. The trail to the waterfall is relatively easy and well-marked, making it suitable for hikers of most levels. Visiting Skakavac is a perfect outdoor adventure for nature lovers, providing breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and a tranquil environment to enjoy. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, Take photos, and connect with the natural beauty of Bosnia.
 
The hike begins in the charming village of Uževica and follows a scenic trail toward Skakavac Waterfall, surrounded by lush forest and mountain views. The route is moderate and suitable for most hikers. Upon request, an organized lunch can be arranged at Skakavac for a perfect day in nature.
